A DJ, producer and house music enthusiast that found his way into the Naarm scene in early 2021. DJ Optimism, formerly known as Kyle Donohue loves to play and produce deep, groovy house tracks that are likely to create a euphoric energy on any dancefloor.

Following the releases of his first two EPs and a few high-energy club edits, Kyle has been given the opportunity to play at some of Melbourne's most iconic venues including Xe54, Glamorama, Circus and New Guernica to name a few.

Kyle can be found playing a variety of futuristic minimal house tracks from innovative European artists such as Chris Stussy and DJOKO, but also pays his respects to the Chicago roots of house music and enjoys playing classics from American artists like Kerri Chandler and Paul Johnson.

As a producer, Kyle's sound is influenced by house, disco, garage, jazz and anything in between that is underground, deep and groovy.

Kyle’s unmatched passion for house music leads him to continuously experiment with new sounds, making him an artist to keep an eye on in the coming years.
